The idea comes mainly from the desire to produce beers which are the expression of the land
where we live and which we cultivate, a principle which is at the basis of our Farm-brewery. As a beer
enthusiast I have always loved Pumpkin Ales; those pumpkin beers brewed in the US since the dawn of their history. It is believed that, in fact, because the
first English settlers only had very little barley malt available, they drew the sugar from pumpkins which
were already there in the new continent. Hence the idea of using those pumpkins from Mantova, so dear to our cuisine, directly in the beer!
The result is a beer with a golden colour, tending to orange and with a clear head. The pumpkin fragrance
is enriched by a delicate spiciness; the taste is rather sweet.
