A lager inspired by the ancient Kolsch beers of Cologne, one of the rare pure barley malt highfermentation German beers.
Veiled, white and persistent head. Grain, acacia honey, herbaceous hints. Sweet and pleasantly bitter taste at the end.
This beer was born through wishing to re-create the sensations of my countryside in the summer: the scent of threshed barley, the hay fields, the flowers
on the river banks and the scent of warm bread in the morning.
A “Bucolic” beer, no doubt. Obviously the quality of our pils malt plays a vital role in giving it notes which are so delicate.
The hops used are among the most precious and delicate available on the market: Saaz from Bohemia and Saphir from Hallertau.
